@FallenFadedLostItAll@freak.university @cyberanathema @Nirty_Digger that's crazy, because I live in the burbs too. It's a little bit more built up than the average suburbs I'd say, but it's definitely not anywhere close to the city. It's weird, there is a fuck ton of housing because there's a lot of land, and there's a lot of demand for things here especially family oriented stuff so like, we have 2 movie theaters within 10 minutes of us and 2 of the same grocery store within 5. We have 3 high schools. It's not like the city though where there's homeless people, crime, poverty, etc. Pretty much the worst it gets is domestic disputes and teens breaking curfew. No violent crime or even much theft really. It's a good little pocket.
I feel you on the part about not being able to drive, though. It does lessen your job opportunities quite a lot. Thankfully I can get rides to work most of the time from my roommates. If I were living on my own I'd have to be getting disability checks which I don't want to get if I don't have to. I'm a little bit worried that everyone will move out and on with their lives and I'll still be a single dude and have to figure out shit but I think it will all work out xD
