This old piano was left at my new house. On the left of the keys there is a sliding knob. Anyone of you know what this is for? I asked a friend of mine who plays and he said he's never seen it before. Maybe you faggots are a little more sophisticated?

@MK2boogaloo @alcade @Colonel_Bustard that's very interesting, i can't say i've ever seen one of these. my guess is that it somehow changes the tone of the piano, only way to find out is to slide it around. perhaps it also changes the action.
frustratingly, i can't find any information on it. even youtube videos where they have pianos with this on it don't mention it at all.
