I remember the Alita movie being the only halfway decent American anime/manga adaptation, I don’t really want to rewatch it because it might be gayer than I remember.
@SerfnUSA I loved it, thought it was awesome. I actually liked ghost in the shell too haha, maybe that's a guilty pleasure.
You can't deny speed racer is fucking cool either.
@beardalaxy Never saw speed racer but American ghost in the shell is on my “someday” list, it looked from the trailers like it was at least trying to be stylish
@SerfnUSA speed racer has fantastic CG and the racing scenes are awesome. It also uses comic book transitions and panels in the cinematography.
