It's sad that even with Valves strong push for Linux gaming, the state of VR is so poor that you'd be better off using Windows 7 over Linux.
@beardalaxy Linux VR might eventually get good, but seeing as working on Linux or VR is charity work for how little their market share is (not to mention the combination of the two), I wouldn't be surprised if it took over a decade to get there.
