question of the day #5: do you wear glasses?
@dommymommy i have colorblind glasses but i don't wear them very often because if i'm at home i'm looking at my pc which already has a better colorblind filter, or i'm at work moving around a lot and they were expensive so i don't want to break them.
@dommymommy they work pretty well! the gist of the kind of colorblindness i have (deuteranopia, the most common) is that you see less red and more green. so, the glasses strip away green from the light that passes through them. it doesn't boost reds, like the windows filter does for instance, but having greens taken away already helps a lot with color recognition and it makes certain things easier on the eyes too.
it's funny, my whole life i thought my teeth were gross and i needed to whiten them but it turns out they just always looked slightly green to me xD same thing with my bathroom, that was the craziest thing when i walked into the bathroom for the first time with the glasses on and the toilet was actually white xD
