@comradepond kinda nuts, i'm working on a cyberpunk setting for a TTRPG and one of the corporations, Wellbody, makes cyberware that operate like modafinil, enhancing the human body to where people can stay awake for longer or sleep easier, things like that. well, they have the most controversy because the people that effectively go "cyber-psycho" usually do so because they are loaded up on these kind of augments, in order to become a "more efficient human" and sometimes even required to get them for certain lines of work like security/special ops.
just interesting to hear that actually happening IRL like a week after i was writing fiction.
