for those of you that play #dnd or just #ttrpg in general i've got a question.
if you had a +10 on your attack roll and found out that you could eat one of your fingers in order to learn a language you see or hear, would you trade a -1 to that attack roll in order to learn a language that nobody else in the party knows that could provide useful for the current setting?
@ROYALTY yeah this is your player character eating the finger, not a hypothetical situation in real life where you'd have to eat your own finger :) all that happens is you have a penalty of negative 1 while using that hand. that means if you wield a greatsword and have a +10 modifier on your attack roll, if you eat a finger it'll just go down to a +9, doesn't really matter what finger it is.
