We have decided to create an account at Mastodon. We need time to learn how this platform works but also how to synchronize our work here with the Twitter account.

Thank you all for joining us here. No matter where we are, the mission stays the same. We are in social media to commemorate the victims of Auschwitz and educate the world about the tragic story of the camp.

@Hyolobrika you already took away my foreskin and now you want my life too? :meru_sweat:

@Hyolobrika @Hyolobrika how does a meme about the number of deaths being inflated correlate to me wishing for someone's death? I'm not out here telling people to kill themselves.

If Hitler killed any Jews on purpose then I think they were most likely unjust deaths. I personally don't agree with corporal punishment period.

Regardless, we can joke about 9/11 all we want because Israel was pretty happy about it, but can't joke about the holocaust without people wishing for our deaths because Jews died. How's that for hypocritical, Mr. Hypocrite Hater?

@beardalaxy @beardalaxy That's fair enough then. My bad.
You're right. I don't find myself as offended at 9/11 jokes so I am being a bit hypocritical. I'm sorry.
I was inadvertently taking this thread as a whole instead of looking at each individual.
I take that back.
@beardalaxy @beardalaxy I also didn't realise it was a joke about the number being inflated. I thought you were saying it was funny that they died.

@Hyolobrika even if that was the case though, like with the 9/11 comparison, you could easily make a joke about people dying in 9/11 (and I have) without meeting basically any backlash. Just replace Hitler SpongeBob with al qaeda spongebob and have him say 911 instead. Meme magic.

I personally don't think telling people to kill themselves over joking about horrible events in human history is very helpful :peepoShrug:
