their posts still make it over here, they just don't see anything we post.
the reason why they are not accepting communication from any instances is because of a large influx of users to the fediverse in general which has apparently tanked the servers and they're working on upgrading as fast as they can.
@redneonglow @sjw really? that's weird. it's just fine for me, just barely took those screenshots.
@redneonglow @sjw are you getting error 401? if that's the case then you need an account and registrations are closed for the time being due to all the server stuff.
good news is, it looks like everyone can still see when artists post. i heard that brand new follows aren't going through anymore, but i'm not totally sure about that. if there is an artist you really like and you aren't able to follow them anymore, you can bookmark one of their posts and just check back every so often.
the artists i follow on this account and get alerts for i still have been getting alerts for this whole time. yokappa, born to die, maniacbox, fiz-rot, ponpu, and lilandy. all of their alerts still work.
@redneonglow @sjw yeah i'd just bookmark an ikelag post so you have a faster way of getting to their page.
I occasionally check Ikelag's account for new art via searching on bae.st.
