there is just a complete disconnect between me and the game when it comes to melee man i swear, i can't get the character to do what i want so it ends up feeling like the game's fault instead of mine. when i fuck up in PM or HDR i know it's 100% on me. the latter has buffer so that makes sense, there are VERY few times that it gets in the way. but PM has no buffer, it just has some slightly more lenient timing windows for things (we're talking like 1 frame) which makes a WORLD of difference.

btw i know i just fucking suck. but that doesn't change the fact that the game is a little unintuitive/clunky. same way i feel about dark souls. in order for me to enjoy a game i need to really connect to what i'm controlling.
