@MischievousTomato @captain_arepa i saw some study that theorized its caused by some part of the brain not maturing normally resulting in targeting the wrong age for sexual attraction. in some cases its probably environmental but theres evidence it's biological in some cases

@animeirl @MischievousTomato @captain_arepa unfortunately not that many studies are done in the first place and the ones that are usually are on convicted felons so it can skew the data a bit. i did see a study once on how basically the brain wires for parenting and sexuality were getting crossed, and that child abusers had lower impulse control than normal.
