Didn’t realize good 4K@144Hz monitors were getting down to the sub-$500 range, too bad the GPU I’d want to power it would be another grand, though.

@dave good thing about something like that is that you can run older games at higher resolutions at that frame rate (or close to it) with a modern gpu. or simpler, esports games. i don't think anybody expects the current graphics cards or even processors to be able to keep up with that sort of display in modern titles. in order to do that you'd need to lower graphic settings which is kinda shitty. i'd rather play at high settings at 1080p than medium at 4k, ya know?
