@Ace66062 @sjw nah there are dedicated, centralized servers that just communicate with each other. If fedi were decentralized, then every user would have pieces of it on their device that they would share with other users (like a torrent). In basic terms, at least, which is about as far as I understand it.
@Ace66062 @sjw although, I guess each server kind of acts this way. It would be like if you had multiple people connecting to your computer while you're torrenting so they can see and use all of the files but you're the one who is hosting all of it. With actual decentralization it's on a user to user basis. I think. Or if I'm wrong just ignore xD
