@coolboymew the first one was brutal. i remember they took out all the mechanics where you could steal coins from people in the later ones.

@icedquinn @coolboymew ...huh? there are a lot of mario party games where you can steal coins and wager coins in battles.
@beardalaxy @icedquinn pretty sure you can in all, but MP1 can go way brutal with 60+ coins stolen
@coolboymew @beardalaxy i remember like 2 or 3 had the same coin stealing game as in 1 but you couldn't actually lose money anymore. when the game resolved you just gained whatever net positive you got or somesth.

@coolboymew @icedquinn i was gonna say, at least in mario party superstars you can lose money to bowser a couple of ways without other players gaining money.
i've played all the mario party games but i did so all in a row in like a month so i don't remember the specifics of most of them xD
@beardalaxy @coolboymew the first one literally had a game where you all spawned in with your coins in a money bag and ran around trying to mug each other and it resolved the game back to the board lol
