Bought a new laptop! I5 7300u, 16gb ram (although a single stick, idk if buying another stick is worth it though?), 256gb m2 drive, $190. Not too shabby at all.
The only problem I have with it is that the chassis appears to have a design flaw where it won't clamp shut in one spot. I had the issue with another one, took it back and got it swapped out for the same model, still has the same problem. Don't really know what's going on there. It clips in but the second you move it around it pops out again.
Small price to pay for a decent laptop less than $200 though. My last one was $250 and the left ctrl/shift only worked sometimes, so there are always going to be some some issues you put up with buying from local sellers that don't have a high bar for quality (which comes at a higher price).
Also I put Shinobu stickers on it so I guess I have to watch monogatari now
