@Shadowbroker2135 Literally did that w/ that one girl for one of hers when she kept talking about how much she hated them. Her parents would sit and make sure she took them every morning…..didn’t realize they were some gucci breathmint
@RupertvonRipp @Shadowbroker2135 Very common middle upper class thing. Teenager’s grades slip and they take them to the dr because surely it’s a sign that something is chemically amiss!
Really took off in my youth when the moms would brag about how it ‘fixed’ their kids (increasing grades). The moms never noticed how much crazier it made them….and man did it make them crazy.

It took me 3 years to finally start feeling back to myself again after getting off mood stabilizers/anti-depressants that I took for about a year because I filled out a sheet of paper that said I had depression and the therapy I was given only lasted a few sessions when it seemed like I was okay because of the drugs.
I'm glad my parents never put me on meds for ADD, because all my primary school teachers said I would daydream a lot but I would always said I didn't. Turns out I have epilepsy instead, and we only found that out when I was 15. Then of course drugs got thrown at me like I was some sort of lab rat and that was almost it for me.
