When I was a younger man DmC's symbolism was lost on me but a bit older now the game's portrayal of a society ruled by leathery skinned sex obsessed disgusting demons pretending to be humans who control all of society through debt and force feed the society disgusting poisonous food and when you rebel at this your fedora wearing friend who supports aborting the enemy's kids will infight with you to the death at the first opportunity... all that seems rather quaint right now because there are no cross dressers

@SaltWraith @DrRyanSkelton one of the villains is just bill o'reily from the antagonistic news station "raptor news network" which is itself a parody of fox news. he even screams "we'll do it live!" at one point lol.
He was also the most charming character in the game because he just had the most fun.

@SaltWraith @DrRyanSkelton I mean just the concept is cool and unique, not necessarily the dev's political intention or whatever lol. The Armstrong battle is way more standard in terms of the actual scenario.
There's also a boss fight where you abort a demon baby at a dance club lol.
