trying to digitize some old VHS tapes right now, definitely a little bit of a headache but i'm figuring it out lol. pretty hard to get these variable analog signals to match up with digital recording. doing this for video games is WAY EASIER.
i don't know how i'm getting better quality out of a cheap chinese composite to HDMI converter from 2015 than a retrotink lol. it doesn't give a fuck when the signal changes it just keeps sending the signal xD just a little tweaking to the saturation and we're golden.
i'm gonna have to pace myself watching and recording all of these. they remind me of how good things used to be ;_; christmas of '97 is what i'm watching now.
there's no way people could afford the sheer amount of presents here as a newly wed couple in their early 20s these days. i've counted 3 N64 games, 4 movies, and 3 pairs of nike shoes, amongst all the other little toys. crazy.
i hate the antichrist.
