@BlinkRape @PhoenixWaifu yeah no tavern keeper operating in a society full of normal sized creatures is going to be making little beds for their taverns specifically unless they're doing some creepy shit. they'd have to have a lot of goblins passing through to consider making rooms solely for them, and goblins that are nice enough to be walking around the city in the first place aren't really commonplace by default.

the truth is you can have both of these tavern keepers in your game at different places in the world. TTRPGs aren't always supposed to be inviting when you're outside of a dungeon. that makes it feel a lot better when you have earned a name for yourself and people start treating you with respect.
