hey, i'd rather have a functioning keyboard again that doesn't have keys that stop working than one with LEDs xD although the keys don't light up at all and don't have white paint, it's all clear... so it's kinda hard to see.
@berkberkman nah i think they're soldered on, unfortunately. it wasn't a very expensive keyboard, relatively.
@berkberkman it actually seems like the switch works fine, it's the keycap that's messed up. if i take off the keycap it actually works.
@berkberkman well, it was working without the keycap. now it isn't working at all actually. wtf
scratch that, everything works except my "F" key now for some reason, which is having the same problem that my spacebar, S, D, and I keys were having before. they just sometimes don't work. i cleaned the hell out of this and it fixed 4 keys in the process so why is one of them now refusing to cooperate? :S
maybe i just need a new keyboard at this point. that sucks though because i thought mechanicals were supposed to last for a lot longer, not like 3 years.
