The whole reason I don't touch VRChat/similar is the userbase always consists of the band kid/attention whore/reddit neckbeard/troon phenotypes, and I've known people who give up hobbies and interests to stay hooked on VRC like crack looking for friends and suggesting me people who are risky to be friends with (and don't care if you're not playing VRC anyway).

@lina @PhenomX6 I've had a psvr TWICE and gotten rid of it because I just didn't use it enough. VR is really fun as a novelty every once in a while but it's such a pain in the ass to set up every time and you can't stay in it for very long because it starts to hurt your head a little bit and you get sweaty and the lenses start to fog up. It's better to go to some VR place and pay for an hour or two with some buddies.

@lina @PhenomX6 it also doesn't help that most of the VR library is only good for an hour or two but still costs like $30. There are very few full games.

@lina @PhenomX6 resident evil 7 was fucking awesome, I'll say that for sure. The only RE game I've beaten besides Revelations.
