watching a review of an old rpg maker game, when the reviewer pops up their playtime on a couple of the versions of rpg maker and says "i have worked extensively in rpg maker across 8 short games"

this gave me insane whiplash lol, i have TWO THOUSAND HOURS WORKING ON ONE GAME :meru_lul:

@beardalaxy what do you think about using godot for an rpg? i started learning how to use it and it's fun

@moi yeah, go for it! I've honestly just been using rpg maker so long that I'm pretty adept at it. If you like an engine though stick with it :)

I'm gonna check out Godot once I'm done with my game to see if it'll work well for my next one. I've seen some pretty cool things done with it and it's gaining popularity now so there are more tutorials out there.

@beardalaxy would love to try your game once its out. godot is really fun and the community behind it is awesome and really active (especially on discord)
