the problem with fedi is that you can have @nicefriend@lefites.lgbt and @nicefriend@ihateblacks.com and they both show up as @nicefriend in the feed
@beardalaxy there's a setting i can change to make it universal but there's only like, two people with the same handle on my feed and turning that on for everyone clutters things up too much
