@mwvdragon it will 100 percent be censored

This game was the target for a lot of "online social commentators." When that happens with any series that thing gets marked.
@zemichi @mwvdragon Being targeted by "online social commentators" is free viral marketing.

@Jens_Rasmussen @mwvdragon @zemichi well, it used to be. I'm willing to bet that the vast majority of people who would complain about LC would never play it anyway, but the corps still don't realize this. They need to pander to the right audience, because with a game like this, no matter how much you censor it there will ALWAYS be a point to complain about.

@beardalaxy @mwvdragon @zemichi Is Lolipop Chainsaw made by "the corps"? In that case it was over before it even began.

@Jens_Rasmussen @mwvdragon @zemichi i don't know much about it tbh. it was made by "grasshopper manufacture" and was a collaboration between james gunn and suda51. neither of them have anything to do with the remake, apparently.

here's a comparison between her original model and the remake model. looks like they made her hotter imo.

@Jens_Rasmussen @mwvdragon @zemichi it's being remade by a certain "dragami games" which is a japanese studio. that gives me a lot more hope it won't be fucked with tbh.

with photos like these on their twitter, i'm sure it'll be fine xD they publish this. it's a game called LoveR that's on switch and ps4, it's a high school dating sim.

the only worry would be if sony decides to censor it or something, but i don't think the devs will.

looking into dragami a bit more, they are led by the original director of lollipop chainsaw (yoshimi yasuda), and they basically just split off of kadokawa in 2022 and took a bunch of their games with them. it would seem that yoshimi yasuda wanted to do this remake for a while but perhaps wasn't able to until now.

you know it's real shit when a japanese game dev doesn't even have an english website xD
