@ChristiJunior as much as it pains me to say it, I think Samus just barely edges out Remilia. If it were Flandre maybe I'd have a different opinion. Samus is just too badass.
Dread was insanely good, too. Awesome bosses, the EMMIs were intense, and the natural level design made traversing the game very fun. Cool story too. Definitely the best Metroid game IMO.

@boloros @ChristiJunior @rasterman honestly I didn't play touhou until a couple years ago. I just really fucking love the music and the character design is very unique. You hear touhou music or see a touhou character and you instantly know what it's from even if you haven't heard/seen it before. I've only played EoSD but that's where the most popular girls and music are anyway.
I would still rec 9 since you are into the music: since it's all characters instead of stages the tracks are great and Shameimaru Aya's remains such a good theme and her chains such a ballbuster to my poor execution that it still casts a tall shadow on Momiji (awoo fox) memes and her place in this poll.
