Opened my Switch Online N64 controller and the L button doesn't have this amazing plastic smell the original had... I call F A K E

Okay, but really

The Snes controller feels... good? The plastic is a tad rough actually, maybe they changed it for better grip? But what annoys me the most is that the connecting seam in the plastic can be felt. Otherwise, the controller feels pretty damn good I guess? Except start and select, but then again, my controllers I'm used to has suffered like 30 years of very hard gamer presses lol. And the added SL and SR buttons are welcomed

The N64 controller feel pretty damn awesome, pretty much almost like the original. It has an extra SR (but not SL???) and screenshot and home button on the top, so more buttons to remap for something else, maybe. The stick is obviously different, but it's weird to have an extra seemingly solid stick on an N64 controller right now

@coolboymew yeah a lot of the old controllers, how people remember them is very broken in. that's not how they originally were though, they were harder plastic that hadn't been worn down as much and the buttons and sticks were pretty stiff to begin with. the SNES and NES start and select buttons definitely feel super weird on brand new controllers because they were these weird rubber things. same thing with the gameboy.
