Do any of y'all have leftie friends? The majority of my friends are on the more right wing side because that's just how things go naturally, but I do have one friend who is pretty liberal. He's really cool though, probably the only leftie I've known who really means it when he says he's open minded. We've got a lot of common ideas, some that aren't which are the more defining ones in something like a political race usually, but it's so refreshing talking to someone who disagrees with you on things but don't jump down your throat immediately if you say something they don't like.

Can you imagine that? Actually COMMUNICATING with people instead of trying to force them to comply with your demands? Disagreeing with someone's beliefs but still being inquisitive enough to wonder why? Actually having good answers for why you believe things instead of it all boiling down to propaganda mumbo jumbo?

He's a bit of a weird dude, but he's cool.
