@RustyCrab @dcc @PurpCat @Sprate @jeffcliff i'm pretty sure this is why we had a user leave here, though they are still active on twitter. some report from pawoo, of course. it's also why i hesitate to tell anyone to join fedi. most people will see something objectionable and nope the fuck out, which i don't blame them for at all.

we had a problem with pedos begging for session contacts and using AI filtered CP conveniently after pawoo had a big ban wave of those same types of people. i volunteered to be a mod and we dealt with it all as fast as we could but it was a lot to deal with so that's why regs were closed. i had a friend join gameliberty right before that happened and he never came back because of it.

i want the fediverse to succeed and i want anyone who is on our instance to not have to deal with seeing that stuff because it really sucks to be exposed to it. i don't blame anyone for defederating from pawoo or even something like baraag if they know that their userbase isn't going to be particularly fond of the content hosted there. when i momentarily hosted an instance for my friends that's what i did, including a few other instances.
