@luithe did you know sony still makes walkmans? it's just a small little android guy, dedicated music player with an actual 3.5mm jack and physical media buttons.
@luithe i honestly really miss my xperia..... my dumbass dad marked it as stolen so he wouldn't have to pay for it instead of just... asking me to pay for it?
@luithe i had a discman for a little bit. it sucked lol, would always skip if you moved more than a slow walking pace xD
and yeah they are hella expensive. i think the one i had was a z3. i don't know the actual price of it since i got it a couple years after it came out and through some verizon deal on a family plan.
i'm gonna keep buying low end motorolas to be honest lol, i've had mine for like 3 or 4 years now and it's still going strong. i can tell the battery is sort of starting to lose its luster but it's not too bad. the two reasons i got it was because it was cheap ($200!) and i wanted to outright own my phone, and it still has an audio jack.
@luithe yeah i loved how nice the camera was, it was so good that i kept using it just for pictures even when i got my new phone, which was a galaxy s6 i believe.
i also really like the fact that it had front facing speakers instead of ones that shot out the bottom of the phone, because playing rhythm games while your hand is mushing up against the speaker is a bad experience. it had 2 speakers too, so it was actually stereo.
yeah... i miss that guy.
Now xperias can cost upwards to 1k USD and the quality and os really reflects that premium price
I'll still keep my shitty OnePlus Nord but it's already showing bulging damage from when I have it in my pocket while working listening to music or videos and the storage filling up from gacha games
Xperias are only really there for mobile device people like those tech channels on YouTube or camera crews and to gaming to some extent
