@beardalaxy Apparently files have been disappearing for some users, it's happened to me before too but never really paid much thought to it since it was a last resort dump, pretty easy to reproduce with database files, however it stores data is probably horrifying

@maylay oh interesting, i haven't had that issue thankfully. only problems i've ever had are the syncing breaking so i need to restart the program, or one file not syncing so i needed to grab the newer version of it instead of the old one that did get synced. thankfully gdrive stores revisions so that was easy enough.
i won't have an issue with any files being deleted if it does happen, since i don't use it for storage but only as a backup and to sync files between my laptop and PC that i can edit on my laptop. gdrive is literally the only solution i have found for what i need it to do lol, even the third party linux apps for gdrive don't do what i need them to xD
@beardalaxy It was a great extra backup and sync solution, keeping stuff local good if possible
