@Mykse when death stranding came out and it was filled with hollywood celebrity cameos, advertisements for things not in the game world, and gay gameplay with an incoherent story (not to mention the awful "princess beach" line).

he was apparently pretty hard to work with. i've heard a theory that he actually went behind konami's back with silent hills and that was the straw that broke the camel's back, as it were.

i mean, he snubbed the real snake, david hayter, in favor of some hollywood fucker.

i'm at least still glad that he introduced me to one of my favorite bands, though. low roar, good stuff. and i'm glad that he didn't get to make a full silent hill game because it would probably be extremely pretentious.
