I got clone hero on my PC. I haven't played it recently but I played a fair share of it with my old GH3 Xplorer guitar. I had to do a lot of maintenance to it recently and got new mechanical fret switches, whammy bar mechanism, and I had to resolder the wired cable as the ground got frayed and the controller kept losing connection. IT's working now but long term I really want to get a usb-c conversion adapter so I can disconnect the wire when I want to put the guitar in storage.

Clone Hero is fun game though a lot of pro players bitch about it because you can ghost notes / cheese complex solos if you really want to. The engine is less strict than Gh3 and it's easier to hit notes because the game isn't locked to 60hz like Guitar Hero 3 was.

Personally I'd rather play Clone Hero though just because there's a lot more content for it and while I find myself decent enough at the game I have no aspirations to become the top %1 of the player base.

I still have to 5* TTFAF on Expert before I can 100% put GH3 to rest though but I finally got the achievements done and if it hadn't been for the All Nightmare Long DLC I would've never got the 750k points in a song singleplayer and I did have to use a bot for 2nd player to get the co-op 5* achievements because no one around me locally is good enough to play Expert to 5* the songs.

I did 5* the songs solo back in 2009 and co-op would've been done around that time as well had the game allowed people to play it online co-op for the achievement ( it's stupid Activision never patched that either when people complained ).
