By not doing anything to get out, she and her family are just as at fault as people who haven’t left San Francisco. Your only choices are white flight or ultraviolence. Anyone who pretended this neighborhood was safe enough to live in made their own retarded choice and I hope her family are wracked with guilt over that choice. The assailants and city police and officials are just as “at fault” but they’re openly the enemy so it’s silly to pretend this was anything but their intent. There’s a lot of blame to hand out here and nobody involved is exempt. I’m disappointed in you for defending this family’s decision to be there at all.
