@Suzu @MoeBritannica the actual cost of the game itself is cheaper than it ever has been due to inflation. most of the time though, the price doesn't stop there and they try to sell you on other shit in the game or even outside of the game. not to mention the fact that everything else has also increased in price and wages really haven't been able to match it. then you have the actual quality of the video games going down the sinkhole, and it all ends up in $70 seeming like WAY too much money for most games.

there is a good reason why indie and AA games are starting to take off again.
