@Azur_Fenix @LoliHat @SpurgAnon @beardalaxy @ninja8tyu @supersid333 The other reason for anonymous commissions I see in the art community, is that artists building up a brand and mass market (to furry) image do not want something negative to their brand, from drawing art for someone who is a drama magnet (in particular, someone who has a bunch of a-logs/angry furries following him around to the point of brigading anyone who does art for him), or a fetish that will get him/her canceled resulting in a long apology post later to try to poorly salvage the brand.
Adding to this is the fact that few internet artists take crypto thanks to the manufactured outrage over cryptocurrencies and the rise of the WSB/biz/Twitter "get rich quick" crowd. One of my friends lives in RU and he cannot get furry art because 9/10 artists only take Paypal. Aside from issues like that, there's also the fact that using PayPal is doxing yourself unless you use a business account, which many consumers don't do (but artists always do). So you're giving your money to HornyPawSlut Creations on PayPal, who sees you as Bill Gates (replace with your real name) on PayPal.
This makes a lot of people on dodgy standing with some furries hesitant to take art commissions.
