@Nanakoko IDK. Most of the stuff in the audio "enlightened" phase is just overexpensive placebo made for retards, tbh.

But overall, I agree. Having a nice ergonomic mouse and a good custom made mechanical keyboard is being way better than any gamerslop I used to have, for instance.
@Suzu @Nanakoko most audiophile shit is just people huffing their own farts. But there are a few things that are understandable. Like the clacking of my anime girl keyboard

@Kyonko802 @Nanakoko @Suzu best two headphones you can get unless you want open backs. i personally like the m40x better just because i like the sound signature, but if you're going for accuracy then the m50x are about as good as you're going to get.

once it gets to open backs though you'll have a better sound stage, however there's zero isolation so you've gotta' have a quiet place to listen to them and you most definitely can't record with them. they're usually more expensive for the same level of quality. monitors are great for that sort of thing too.

@beardalaxy @Kyonko802 @Nanakoko @Suzu people say they're overpriced and you could easily get much more quality for cheaper. eg closed akg361 for 100$. open + mic PC37X for 120. open hd6XX for around 170$ at occasional sales. or open SPH9600 for 70 on a budget. even IEMs are apparently really good rn. can't confirm any of this but i did have the m30x tho and i did not like them, sound felt completely muted, same with the wireless AT's i tried

@smugumin @Kyonko802 @Nanakoko @Suzu those akg361s seem pretty good too, looks like they go blow for blow in terms of audio quality but it depends on what you're looking for. for most people it probably won't make a difference. they do look like they have a better build though.

can't speak for the m30x but i do know they are a considerable step down from the m40x.
