And this is pretty much happening before thr PS5 Pro is supposed to be announced... What?
The only thing that would make sense here is if Sony wants to scare people into buying the remaining stock now, hope they caught a few idiots to double down on a Pro after, and/or clear stock so that the Pro becomes the only model or something
But a price increase, this late in the gen, is insane and unheard of. It's almost as if they want to get steamrolled

@coolboymew Sony knows that their fans are retarded paypigs and will put up with anything, if they weren't, the PS5 would have sold less than the Wii U.
