I think there are 6 levels of skill for everything:

1. Casual
2. Hobbyist
3. Amateur
4. Semi-pro
5. Professional
6. Master

What would you rank yourself in your various skills, and what steps, if any, are you taking to level up?

Singing for me is something I would consider myself at semi-pro level. I would like to visit a vocal coach at some point to learn new techniques, especially screaming since it is one of the only things I feel like I don't really know how to do well. My voice otherwise extremely robust and I wish I just had something like a band full of talented musicians to compliment it. I think I could go pretty far with it if that were the case. It's definitely my greatest skill and the one I think I could feasibly get to that Master level the easiest.

Music in general I'm probably at an amateur level. I want to get my hands on a lot of instruments and learn how to play them so I can incorporate new sounds into my music. The main two I have my sights set on at the moment are bass guitar and saxophone, although for the latter I'll probably end up getting one of those smaller "fake" saxes to begin with.

Game dev is a weird one. I think I've probably hit that 10,000 hour mark by now. I mean, I've been doing it for a long time. There's still SO much left to learn though, including actually releasing a large game and everything that goes with that. I'd probably put myself at amateur for that as well because I do it mainly as a hobby but I've spent an incredible amount of time on it. There are also just so many aspects to it. I've been leaning a little bit more into art recently, in hopes that it can help me elevate that overall skill.

Taking art at an individual level, I'm not even really at the casual stage yet. I end up doing artistic things only when it's really necessary and it usually takes me a long time. That is something I really want to improve at and do more often, it's just that other things take precedence.

Just as a funny one, video games. I think for the most part, I'm at that amateur level for pretty much everything I play. Maaaaybe semi-pro for some games depending on who you ask. I'm definitely no casual or hobbyist when it comes to stuff like Smash and Guitar Hero, but I'm not exactly good enough to go up against people who take it way more seriously.
