@Zergling_man do you have a client or two you could recommend?

i actually like mastodon's interface the most. i wish i could upload more than 4 pictures per post but that's really it.

@beardalaxy I just use thedesk, gahahahaha, with some patches of my own to make it play nicer with pleroma.

Actually subwaytooter is fucking amazing, to the point that I have considered running it in waydroid. But it doesn't display more than one column at a time under any circumstance.

@Zergling_man doesn't seem like my style. thanks for the suggestion though! i don't care much for the layout with all the columns/panels open. i like things to just look very simple and be very compartmentalized.

for web i was trying to use this userstyle to get a cleaner look and a wider feed, but yeah it fucks up the interaction buttons. maybe i can fix it by just disabling the repositioning of them or something. it's probably not working because the version of mastodon that gameliberty uses is pretty hacky.

@beardalaxy I think most clients will do that. I just don't care about them, because they do that, instead of letting me manage all my accounts easily.

@Zergling_man yeah if i had more than two accounts it might be a little different lol. i mainly use this one anyway.

@beardalaxy Yeah check out whatever other clients then. I think you won't like fedistar because I remember it being the second-best after thedesk, and I don't remember the names of any other I tried, because IIRC none of them supported multiple accounts.

@Zergling_man in any case, i fixed it by just removing all the lines that changed the buttons lol.

@beardalaxy @Zergling_man All the random arbitrary limitations they copied from xitter are bad, and half the images not working is worse, but dont you find it worst having to write your 10k line rants using only ~3% of the screen space

@applejack @Zergling_man yeah it would be nice being able to pop out the reply window or something lol. that would be better on twitter since it's right at the top in the middle and has a bigger area to type in, but i wouldn't be able to make 10k line rants there xD
