@teratology @get abortions are one of the things I seriously disagree with conservatives on and I wish like hell they'd drop it as an issue because it only hurts them both long term and short term.
Redpill though: the dems don't codify abortion because it's their #1 most effective issue to campaign on. If they actually fixed it they'd lose a major source of votes so they just keep it a problem forever. Exact same thing happens with republicans and the border. They're about to have both houses and the presidency and they won't do a single thing to fix it because what would they run on next time?

Morally, I despise it. Unless it is one of the typical exceptions, women who get it done just because they feel like it are making a horrible decision.
Overall though, I'm a fan of letting states decide more stuff. I want the fed to have the least amount of power as possible.
Women don't get abortions because they feel like it, it is a painful and traumatic experience for your body to go through and complications can still arise leading to death, similar to miscarriages. There are also women who get pressured into getting abortions by men who swear that the women are ruining their lives if they don't. Every single pregnancy can result in a woman's death, every single one. This is a little known fact that isn't acknowledged in relation to the subject.
