@MoeBritannica there are plenty of people in games journalism. They're all independent YouTubers who do a thousand times better than the legacy journos do, even the ones I don't like as much.

There was something cool about opening up a gaming magazine and reading about cool games and looking at the art in there, but that ship has kind of sailed at this point. If legacy games journalists want to remain relevant and keep doing their job, they really should look into starting independent channels instead. You just know none of them will though, because they would be leaving a safe space where they are coddled and don't have to do nearly as much work. They wouldn't last in the ecosystem.

@beardalaxy @MoeBritannica I dislike most of the big gaming JewTubers too, but at least even the shitlib e-celebs were willing to call out an atrocity like Dragon Age Veilguard, while the gaming journos shilled it HARD.
