@WhitestTemplar @YeetLibs i think a big part of it is probably that being in a corp like hololive gives you access to an insane amount of opportunity, but the more opportunity you get the more you have to grind and work for it. being that gura is hololive's most popular talent and the most popular vtuber period, i'm sure there is an extreme amount of pressure but also some very awesome opportunities and that's why she sticks around, for now.

with how big gura is, i'm sure she could do pretty much anything she wanted, but there is always red tape and stuff that comes with a corpo that won't exist if you're an indie. it's way more relaxed that way but it's definitely different and you have to do a lot more work yourself if you want the same kind of opportunities. there is definitely a balance somewhere in there and that balance will be different for everyone.

if she goes back to being senzawa though i wouldn't mind at all. i care more about the people behind the avatars than i do the avatars themselves, they're just a vehicle for their antics.
