apparently brave has some experimental twitch adblocking they are testing out now, gonna give it a shot and see how it goes. i've been using AdGuard Extra to do that but there are some issues with buffering every now and then so i wanted to see if this would work any better.

if not, AdGuard Extra still does the job for the most part.
