@beardalaxy tariffs distort the market, but so does everything else. It's bad but worrying about it is like worrying about the blinding light from the moon, while forgetting that the sun (Federal Reserve) also comes out. In lots of specific ways tariffs will be a specific shock. The goal of making domestic production more competitive isn't an insane one, but it's hard to take seriously when a Democrat can come back into office and sweep that production right back into the garbage.
