@j only if the dvd drive had the same security as their cd drive did
@beardalaxy playing burned DVDs is something every DVD player can do. Some DVD players can even record live TV too writable DVDs like how VCRs could record to VHS.
@beardalaxy why would that be any different? It's still a Dreamcast.
@j the dreamcast could just play ripped games on CDs. no DRM at all. so what i'm saying is that if the Dreamcast had a DVD drive, it'd be great if it didn't have DRM on the DVD games too.
