@mikuphile I sometimes hear coil whine from my gpu when it ramps up to load a video, then I take my headphones off and can't hear it anymore. I think the headphones block out frequencies that mask it. Super weird.
@beardalaxy Are you using the motherboard's outputs? Those pick up a ton of noise, maybe that's why it happens. If you can no longer hear it if you disconnect the headphones, that must be the reason.
