The exchange was very anime, very theater, in a Greek play kind of way, but also very real, infused with emotion, high stakes, and clear divisions. The result was catharsis in the real world.

@irie actually, if you *don't* want Ukraine to be destroyed, it's a horrible betrayal of Ukraine, Democracy, decency, virtue, God, and man.
I pray that Democracy can be restored via military coup in this country, and Trump's voters stripped of the franchise, so that we can undo this betrayal by doing that thing that's failed more an more obviously for three years now. Political instability to this degree is actually PREFERABLE to my ever agreeing with a Russian about something.

@apropos I don't think the people celebrating Zelensky's public scolding want the Ukrainian people to go extinct. The pro-Russian side that is not Russian (me included) has been warning of the many unnecessary Ukrainian deaths since 2022. And I agree, Zelensky must go, elections are preferable, and then, peace.

Yeah no, they lost, they never won to begin with. Whether you like it or not, they NEED to cut their losses. Zelensky continuing this is the very definition of a sunk cost fallacy. The money we are pouring in just for people to die is absurd. I don't know how you justify such a thing other than out of spite, which is incredibly immature.
I'm not surprised Zelensky wants it to continue though. The death of Ukrainians is kind of the Ukraine MO.
