@Ronnie21093 does it go offline and then basically act like a router reset? or is it off for an extended period of time?
i had a modem with an overheating problem so like once a week it would reset itself and for a long time we thought it was the ISP being retarded
@beardalaxy It goes out for an extended period of time, and it happens to a significant portion of the town on this ISP.

@Immahnoob @beardalaxy Tbh, over the past week it has been hard to tell if it was just my modem or the internet going down again. The internet in the general area has gone down 4 times in the past week. 
@Ronnie21093 @beardalaxy Many western countries just didn't bother investing in the infrastructure, and from the very start, monopolized it as all hell.

Sadly my only options are coaxial cable (what I'm on now), DSL, satellite or one of those modems that connects to cellphone towers for internet.
