"WAAAAHHH MY SWITCH 2 IS GOING TO BE $650 WITH THE TRUMP TARIFFS AND I WON'T BE ABLE TO BUY IT!!!"
Okay dumbass, you still have a regular Switch and probably another console or PC too as well as a massive backlog. You do not need a Switch 2. It'll be a bummer you don't have one, but if you want one really bad maybe you can work a few extra days in the next couple of months and stop eating out so much.
A game console (with hardly any games at launch) being more expensive is an extremely small price to pay for the hopeful end goal of lowering prices and/or increasing the amount of money you make.
Who knows if the tariffs will actually end up being a good thing or a bad thing. I don't know. I'm not going to get my panties in a bunch about not being able to pre-order a game console though lmao that's some serious pansy shit.
@PurpCat i have good credit so if it is priced more i'll probably pay the $500 original price and put whatever the rest is on the credit card and just pay it off over the next couple months or something.
i don't think it is likely that it actually increases in price though because vietnam and taiwan both agreed to go to 0%, which is where the majority of manufacturing for all of this stuff happens.
@PurpCat (not financial advice btw)
