Saw someone posted this on /v/ in a GPU thread and it opened up a can of nostalgia of that same card being my first real gaming GPU I ever got back in 2008 the eVGA 8800GT 512MBGDDR3 single slot pci-e

This thing was a really nice GPU for it's time sadly I sold the card off to a friend for like $20 when he was on a tight budget and needed a GPU to play StarCraft 2 and I was on a HD 5850 by then and it ended up dying a year later. Shame eVGA doesn't make GPUs anymore because I really liked their cards.

@ooignignoktoo evga cards were awesome, yeah.
I can't remember the first gpu that I bought, but I had no idea what I was doing and thought you could just slap parts into any computer so it didn't work in the family desktop. Then I tried upgrading the processor and that went about as good as you would expect. Had to take a break from the computer for about a year until I bought an Alienware Alpha lol, then I just gave the gpu I bought to a friend. While I didn't have a PC I was just using the ps4 web browser with a mouse and keyboard xD
